NCDMM Awarded $69 Million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract from U.S. Army

Fourth Contract Vehicle Awarded in NCDMM’s History

Blairsville, Pa. — The National Center for Defense Manufacturing and Machining (NCDMM) proudly announces it has been awarded a $69 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle. Administered by the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOM AvMC) at Redstone Arsenal, Ala., the five-year contract vehicle supports the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD) through the U.S. Army Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) Division.

An IDIQ contract enables the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government organizations to efficiently utilize the manufacturing expertise and services of NCDMM. It is the fourth such contract awarded to NCDMM since its inception in 2003.

“NCDMM is honored to be awarded this IDIQ from the United States Army,” said NCDMM President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Fleegle. “This contract fits with the mission that drives our organization every day – to deliver unbiased advanced manufacturing technology to ensure the U.S. warfighter has every advantage possible – and is a testament to the results achieved under our previous IDIQ contracts. We look forward to working with our partners at the Army to position our armed forces, and U.S. competitiveness, for success.”

Within the manufacturing and defense industries, NCDMM is recognized as a trusted and unbiased advanced manufacturing solutions leader, delivering and implementing innovative and collaborative solutions and technology-based manufacturing process improvements. Projects conducted by NCDMM in conjunction with its extensive partner network under three previous IDIQ vehicle contracts have cut costs, increased productivity, improved quality, decreased lead times, and reduced waste. Most importantly, these successful project outcomes have supported national security priorities, advanced military modernization efforts, and resulted in real and impactful benefits for the U.S. warfighter.
