Josh Coffey

Chief Technologist

Josh Coffey serves as Chief Technologist for AMIIC. He is an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a focus in hypersonic weapon system development, high temperature material, advanced manufacturing, and program management. Josh has experience working across multiple DoD branches and has successfully led the transition of numerous next-generation technologies from the development stage to full system integration on flight tested hypersonic weapon systems.  Josh has a passion for getting promising technologies across the “valley of death” and integrated into production programs.

Josh holds a B.S in Kinesiology from the University of Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) and a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University from Alabama-Huntsville (UAH).
